John Glacier, the rapper from Hackney, is back with a new track 'youtubesoundcloud fun', featuring JADASEA. What's clear is that John Glacier makes music first and foremost for herself, and for fun. She released her debut record SHILOH: Lost For Words on PLZ Make It Ruins in 2021, but she seemingly makes more music than the industry can process, so turns to the humble SoundCloud for some of her creative outlets. 'youtubesoundcloud fun' is a moody trip hop track. The production is reminiscent of Tricky, with a ghostly organ sample and a drowsy beat. John Glacier's flow is raw, rhythmic and refreshing, the recording super intimate and close to the mic. Half way through JADASEA takes hold of the mic, shedding light on the unspoken darkness of the city, 'I'm only here cos I'm bless and that's what's peak about it, to look around at the mess and you ain't speak about it, the ground under my creps, you try creep around it, quiet as breath in the winter clouded'.
